Our story

Speechling is a Speech Pathology practice founded by Amelia Fox in 2022. Our experienced team helps people with communication and swallowing difficulties. We provide Speech Pathology services to people living in the Greater Sydney area.

The name
Hatchling. Seedling. Speechling. These are small things but they do not stay small.

Speechling starts small with clients and, step by step, helps clients grow in their capacity for better communication and swallowing.

Bijo Varghese

PRACTICE MANAGER

Bijo is the Practice Manager at Speechling. He has a strong background in business analytics and service design, with a Bachelor of Business Informatics from the University of Canberra and currently completing Master of Data Science at the University of Sydney. He has spent the last several years building reliable systems and processes that make care easier to access and simpler to deliver.

Bijo loves removing friction for families and clinicians -clear onboarding, timely communication, and practical tools that keep the focus on therapy, not paperwork. He is passionate about a family-centred, neuroaffirming approach to service, and works alongside our clinical team to make sure each client’s goals are supported by smooth operations, transparent pricing, and flexible scheduling.

When he’s not at work, Bijo enjoys running, cycling, frisbee, and time with his family - usually over good food and lively conversation.
