The Speechling clinic is on Aboriginal land. The original owners of the land are the Burramattagal clan of the Darug people. Burramattagal means ‘place where the eels lie down’. The Burramattagal clan have cared for the land for a long time and still have a connection to the land. We give thanks and respect to the Burramattagal ancestors, elders and Aboriginal people living here today.
